AWARDS NEWS: Southeastern Film Critics toast “Milk”

The Southeastern Film Critics gave the nod to Gus Van Zant's bio of Harvey Milk as best picture, with Slumdog Millionaire taking several prizes as well. The organization, made up of mostly newspaper critics from the southeastern corner of the country, also jumped on the WALL-E bandwagon, naming it the third best of the year, and also Best Animated Film.
