Some observations about the show…

Just once, it would be so NICE to get through an awards show without politics getting involved. But NOOOOOOOO…Richard Gere couldn't resist a few shots, and neither could the director of John Adams. Honestly, people, will you GIVE IT A EFFING REST ? We don't give a SHIT what you think…keep the focus on WHY you're there – the MOVIES – and NOTyour personal political beliefs, because some of  us happen to not agree with your way of thinking or your skewed reasoning for thinking  the way you do…

The house band, Rooney, was incredibly talented, but i'd like to know WHY they were stuck in the late 70s and early 80s with their tunes…

Is it just impossible for Emile Hirsch to, oh, I don't know,  look like a human being when he's not acting in something? He looked like a bum pulled off the street and shoved into an ill-fitting suit…for pete's sake, Emile, will you SHAVE once in a while? And do something with that gawd-awful hair…give Carson Kressley a call…you need a fashion makeover, BADLY….

Josh Brolin's true surprise at winning ensemble cast for Milk was so refreshing..he helped to deflect some of Emile's fashion faux pas…

Just a few notes…see you Sunday with live coverage of the Golden Globes!
